Most of our Pearls are freshwater pearls, cultured in China. Over the years, our Company has developed relationships with some of the best farms in China. We usually travel with our selection team monthly to China.

All pearls found on this site are freshwater cultured pearls. Individually selected by hand by our team of expert, we are purchasing these pearls directly from the farms cultivating them. Do not be fooled by Companies claiming to own pearl farms in China. We have been in business for more than 15 years and have yet to meet one.

Freshwater pearls are typically grown in mussels in lakes or rivers. It takes an average of 6 years for a mussel to produce a pearl having a chance of being elected by New Legend Pearls. Actually, we are so selective in our sorting process that only the top 3 to 4% of production is being sold by New Legend Pearls.
